  1. For me, whether it's live or on video, there is no listening to that song without shedding more than a few tears.

  2. This was very well done. Alright, Cure, someone made the video for you. All you have to do is now release the song.

  4. this certain energy the band creates by playing only a few tones by each member and building such an athmosphere is what the cure is to me....

  6. Nice video! I like the version they did later in the NA tour where Robert's voice goes up on "the way we DANCED all night." I hope they do it that way if it ever gets released.

    1. Do you know what concert or city specifically?

    2. Madison square New York. Not sure which night. YouTube search "the cure it can never be the same pornography". Roberts voice goes up as you describe. And I agree it sounds much better that way.

    3. It changed around the first Hollywood Bowl show. I can't find a video for Chula Vista, but in the first Hollywood Bowl show his voice goes up on that line. All the shows before that it remains even, like in the video above.

  10. I don't know what show it changed in but by the Chicago shows (my first ones of the tour) he was singing that line differently than he did at the beginning of the tour. Here's a video from Chicago to show you what I mean: https://youtu.be/T-eSDme1z6E

  11. Very well done! This song sounds like a lost 'Disintegration' track...strong lyrics as usual too. This footage needs a dvd/Blu-ray release.

  12. The song, the band, the performance, the single lit candle in the background, all stellar. This is one of their very best.

His tears break my heart though. It's been said that the song may have been born out of Robert's loss of his mother. Personally, it's a bittersweet experience to feel such bliss while listening when you know that a great loss might have inspired the song and the performance.

In any event, sincere thanks to all who contributed to this video. You totally rock!

  16. I really love the band. One of my greatest friends and company, being with me all my life. I am really looking forward to seeing them live in Madrid & Barcelona. Thanks for the song. Robert is a genius still alive & kicking despite some comments fans have made on the net.

  19. Just a word to thank Craig for posting my editing of this great song by The Cure. It seems some of you liked it and I'm very glad about it! And thank you so much to the people who share their footage on YouTube or Vimeo.

  20. Please RS forget marketing rules (3min songs etc) and give us ICNBTS studio version - single. Time will not touch this song.

  21. I cannot stop watching or listening to this song; It's so incredibly great, what a gift they played this summer.

  22. Still my strongest memory from the Montreal show. They played 'Pornography' immediately after, the first time since the Trilogy shows. Robert was intense as hell. The mood was indescribable. I was in tears.

Really hope there is an album like this, i'm glad they are exploring their darker side once again.
