  1. The amount of times I have seen suicide be related to "teen angst" is atrocious. As if only teens have and should be feeling emotions or be in a mental state that might lead them down that path of thought...

It really makes me upset actually...

  2. I'm so glad people are actually getting to hear about this album; I've just been to HMV to get my copy and the HMV guy said something like "I really wanna hear this thing; I've heard so much about it recently..."

I'm happy our boys are getting the media attention they deserve =)

  4. also, allmusic has a review up, or at least they did yesterday. 2 out of 5, godfather of goth, going through the motions, blah blah blah.

  5. i'm actually really surprised at the 2 out of 5 from allmusic.

really? worse than the self titled? really?

  6. Allmusic panned it, but they hate the Cure, so I'm not surprised.

  9. TST was a great album, no ifs or buts, especially the aussie version with bonus tracks fake, tgab & going nowhere...

  10. *tries really hard*

    nope. can't do it.

  11. Those bonus tracks should have been on all versions.
Really, if you are going to have an album that sounds like a trip down memory lane (or teachings of Cure history) let's make it full, do it all the way.

  12. Don't try too hard, Monkey, I'm afraid you'll squeeze one out.

  13. Detroit Free Press comments that UTS is "ponderous"... oh please! How can you listen to such a glorious song and then be left so utter-fuckingly-clueless????

  14. too late, hynreck. but i'll name it after you.

  15. "Negative introverted U2?"

    Eh?

Bizarro phrasing. Cure has always been more introverted than U2 - and also superior to.

  17. Once I get this album in my hands tomorrow, I'm going to stop reading these so called reviews. I don't need someone to tell me the album is so-so. I already know it's going to be awesome with everyone thoughts & feelings from the COF!
